The consequences<\/h2>\n

An implant when affected by peri-implantitis loses bone faster than a natural tooth because the natural tooth has several gingival and periodontal fibers that attach to it perpendicularly while an implant does not have these periodontal fibers. Dental hygiene<\/h2>\n

This is why very rigorous dental hygiene is required with implants. When you see redness or tenderness around the implants, it’s important to keep brushing, harder, and floss deeply. We strongly suggest that if you have any doubts or if the redness persists for more than two weeks to consult a dentist with a microscope for a better diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Class 3<\/strong> : There is moderate bone loss horizontally and advanced bone loss circumferentially around the implant (5 threads or threads, exposed and circumferentially)<\/p>\n

Class 4<\/strong> : There is moderate to horizontally advanced bone defect and bone loss

Is it possible to treat<\/h2>\n
