An implant to replace a tooth<\/h2>\n

An implant is simply an anchor, (a false root) that integrates with the bone and reproduces the action of the roots of the teeth! The implant can replace one or more teeth.<\/p>\n

    What happens when you lose your teeth?<\/h2>\n

    When teeth are extracted, there is also a loss of much of the bone material that holds the teeth in place.<\/p>\n

    Indeed, once the tooth is removed, the surrounding bone will quickly resorb and lose its volume. The dental roots naturally transfer masticatory forces to the jaw bones, providing them with the stimulation necessary for constant reconstruction. If these roots are absent, the bone no longer “exercises” and this lost volume will have to be replaced, either by a larger prosthesis or by a bone filler.
